An Embodied Woman Sells With Ease

I just closed an 850k deal, the biggest of my career. And it was painless. There was no hustle, no forcing to move the sale forward, no over analyzing or catastrophic thinking. Instead, there was flow, trust, grace and ease. And there was me, a woman who has found her power and whose essence fully inhabits her being. A woman who allows herself to feel and is no longer stuck in her head doubting, worrying, controlling, over-criticizing herself. Instead, she stops to process her emotions, she moves in order to give her body a voice, and above all she connects to the magnetic power within and allows life and Sales to flow.
I did not used to be like this, like at all. Fear, worry, anticipating the worst so as to protect myself from being disappointed if the sale fell through was how I operated. Forcing outcomes as a way to control every aspect of the deal. Ruled by self-doubt, always thinking I was doing it wrong, that I said the wrong thing, or I didn’t know enough. Losing sleep, letting my emotions control my day, burnout, exhaustion, wanting to quit. I took things personally and completely tied my self-worth to what I was producing. Glass half empty, scarcity mindset, that was me. How exhausting!
As women in Sales roles, we operate in a masculine dominated industry all about force, hustle, action, strategy, numbers-driven targets, and push energy. We are usually silencing our feminine essence of flow, trust, ease, connection, intuition, and receptivity that is inherent to our very being. No wonder many of us end up burnt out and wanting to quit or leave the industry entirely. And without the tools to regulate our nervous system it's easy to see how things can come crashing down.
All salespeople are essentially paid to be rejected as that is the nature of the game - sometimes you get a yes and sometimes you get a no. For a woman who is disembodied, doesn’t know who she is or isn’t connected to her power, this can be quite dysregulating. Add to that commission based selling, KPI’s and the pressure to hit goals and then doing whatever it takes to close the deal, sacrificing personal boundaries. How could she not burn out?
The truth is, both masculine and feminine qualities are valuable in Sales — we need strategy and connection, action and trust. But too often, women are taught to abandon their feminine strengths in order to succeed in a system built on masculine ideals. That imbalance is what drives so many of us into burnout. But when we reclaim our feminine essence and bring it into how we sell, we create a way of working that feels both sustainable and successful.
This is why an embodied woman doesn’t just survive in Sales. She thrives, sells more, and does it in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and deeply aligned with who she is.
So what is embodiment anyways? To be honest, it can be hard to put into words because it's not something you totally understand until you’ve experienced it. In the simplest of terms, embodiment is the act of fully inhabiting your body and experiencing life through your energy, emotions, and internal felt senses - instead of just the mind alone. It’s the practice of pausing to ask your body what she’s feeling, sensing, knowing. It’s placing a hand on your heart, taking a deep breath and noticing the quiet whispers and the inner knowing of your internal world. It’s giving and listening to the voice of your body, not just the endless chatter in your mind.
As a woman who is more embodied than she used to be, my capacity to embrace the unknown has grown exponentially. The fear and anticipation doesn’t have as strong of a grip or control over me as it once did. I can trust my breath and my body to hold me, to sustain me, to carry me through life. Not external forces, just me. I’ve met my power like never before. I’m intimate with it, I know it, I honor it, I cherish and love it. I experience life through my whole body, not just my mind. I move gracefully, softly and easily with depth and at the same time strength, direction and purpose. I am balanced and I am powerful.
What does this mean for my Sales? Well it means that bigger deals are coming my way. It means that I trust it will work out. It means that when an intimidating character comes into the picture, I’m able to stand in my power and command the respect I deserve. I still get really annoyed sometimes but I have tools to be able to work with my emotions - to allow them to flow instead of getting stuck in all my cells and tissues manifesting as physical pain and a terrible mood!
And on a practical level, here’s how embodiment shows up in my sales:
I recover from rejection faster, instead of spiraling for days after a “no.”
I set firmer boundaries with clients, protecting my time and energy.
I negotiate more confidently because I can hold steady in the discomfort of money conversations.
I prevent burnout by noticing when my body needs rest and honoring that.
I build deeper, more authentic client connections that shorten the sales cycle.
I trust my intuition when navigating deals and feel more confident making decisions without second-guessing myself.
I magnetize opportunities that flow and feel aligned.
An embodied woman sells more because she claims her power and, in turn, is able to impact and influence change. She fills herself up from within and doesn’t rely on outside influences. She believes in herself because she knows herself and this trust and belief magnetize clients and deals. The ease and grace she experiences within attracts opportunities that mirror that same energy. She thrives in Sales because she is happy and in alignment. And not only does she succeed more, she does it in a way that is sustainable, empowering, and deeply fulfilling.
Here are a few questions to sit with: How does this land in your body as you read? Do you recognize yourself in these words, even in small ways? Can you imagine what it would feel like to know your own power and move through Sales with more ease, trust, and flow?
As a Feminine Embodiment Coach, I guide Women in Sales from being disembodied, burnt out, and stuck in their heads to becoming embodied, grounded, and connected to their true power. When a woman feels better in her Sales role, she sells more - because a woman who knows and claims her power naturally magnetizes clients, opportunities, and deals that close.
